Introduction to the Advantages of Electromagnetic Heating

In recent years, the plastic processing machinery heating rings used in the market have all been for heating, continually conducting to the screw barrel. This results in heat conduction loss, causing an increase in ambient temperature; most of the heat from the outer ring dissipates into the air, leading to energy loss. Electromagnetic heating technology, however, allows the metal barrel itself to generate heat while the outside of the barrel is wrapped with insulation material. This greatly reduces conduction heat loss and air heat loss, improving thermal efficiency and preventing an increase in ambient temperature. 


Consequently, the energy-saving effect is very significant, reaching 40% to 75%. Additionally, the electromagnetic heating ring itself does not generate heat, and since it is made from ceramic materials and high-temperature cables, it does not face the issue of oxidation of the resistance wire at high temperatures, which shortens the lifespan of traditional electric heating rings. Installation and Adjustment of Electromagnetic Heating


The installation and adjustment of the electromagnetic heating ring are simple: remove the original electric heating ring from the machine, wrap a layer of insulation material around the heated object, and then place the electromagnetic induction ring on the heated object. Connect the wires that previously led to the heating ring to the input line of the electromagnetic heating controller, and the installation is complete. 


To ensure that the use of the original equipment with the electromagnetic heating ring does not change the original production process or operating procedures, the performance differences between the two heating methods were addressed during design. When using the electromagnetic heating ring, the power is reduced by about 40%, and the electromagnetic heating controller has power adjustment and power-off protection functions. Therefore, the adjustment process is quite simple. Users can follow the instructions for adjustment.
